NOT TRUE. This man has been framed by the PPP govt. on trump up charges. He is a decent man who made significant contributions to Guyana in the area of education, Accountancy and Technology.

I have just been on another site and was linked to this site. I have read about all the people who made "Skunts of the Week" but I am in total disagreement with Balwant Persaud is a Skunt. Balwant Persaud is a well respected educationist and now an Immigration Consultant. This man is trying to clear his name and you should have supported him in his quest to clear his name. Balwant Persaud might be a bitter man now, but can you blame him? His only enemy in the PPP is Clement Rohee and Rohee is responsible for his problems. The DPP took instructions from Rohee.

The thousands of people who passed through Balwant's school and who socialised with him will never agree with you.
Editor, I would urge you to delete this post about Mr. Persaud and give your site some respectability. I know the man and I am sure you know the man too.
Mr. Persaud is no threat to anyone or the government. He is just concerned about clearing his name.

I don't think you clear your name by besmirching other peoples name. BP may be innocent,but everything on this site was in the newspapers.How does writing to Marriott and scaring off a potential investor help BP?

ReplyDeleteHe recieved stolen computers from a burglary and bribe his way out of it. All the computers were recovered at his house.
I think this site is being run by hateful people close to the PPP. Now you are accusing BP of stealing computers and bribing his way out. BP is no friend of the police, so why should he bribe the police?

I am a member of the WPO, the women's arm of the PPP but I do not believe in mud slinging.
The PPP does not stand for that.
I repeat that Mr. Balwant Persaud is one of the most honest and decent person in Guyana.
From what I know Mr. Persaud imports his own computers from Canada and bought them from Staples store.
We in the PPP should welcome him in our party.

Angela. This is comments from other readers. Chief Skunt is just listening. Like I said maybe he is innocent. How does scandaling people help BP's cause. He is just as guilty.

ReplyDeleteIf they say Balwant is a computer thief, then Cheddi Jagan, Freedom House and Mirror newspaper are all guilty of theft as Balwant donated computers to Cheddi and the other establishments.
I was working with Balwant at his North Rd's office and I can tell you he helped the PPP a lot. Just ask Kellawan Lall, Navin or Mahmoud Shah. Balwant even helped Sam Hinds, Manniram Prashad etc. Balwant is just disgusted because he was framed by the DPP and one of our own, Cde.Rohee. Balwant was never a PNC, he just lent his name and face to that party in the last election to help a friend Dave Danny who was looking for Indian faces.
Balwant was entrusted by Cheddi to computerised the Office of the President with the recommendation of Kellawan Lall.
People here do not know anything about the man.
As for his immigration work, he just represnets his clients, nothing is wrong with that.
No one can blame him as he did not get justice from the system that we are running. It is sad to see our own people doing this to one of our own.

He is a theif! Angela, Khan or whoever want to vouch for him good luck holding on to your reputation in the future. I don't trust him further than I can see him.
